My smallest boy is now ONE!

Leading up to baby D turning one whole year old i felt so excited for him yet at the same time i don't want him to get any bigger, i love this age and his size, hes just adorable!

Over the recent months he has learnt to crawl, climb, stand without help and play with his big brother, which is amazing to watch. I couldn't feel any prouder of this little boy of mine, from the day i found out i was pregnant to right now i've felt nothing but want and love for him. He has amazed us non stop with how quickly he can crawl, how brave he is when he bumps himself and doesn't get upset, how stubborn he is when he wants something or doesn't want something he makes sure its known.
He can say 'ilk' for milk, 'apple' 'anana' for banana, 'amma' for grandma, 'mama', 'more' 'ba' for bath and 'up up' with his arms stretched out to be picked up.
He can feed himself his little bite sized pieces that i chop his food into and can confidently share a bath with his brother playing and splashing without a care in the world (and without ever needing the use of a bath seat unlike what his big brother had)
He has the most gorgeous little smile that shows all 4 of his tiny teeth and a brilliant little curly afro!

For his 1st birthday we spent it with family, having a small intimate tea party and as you may have read from my previous post, we dared to set up our very own cake smash shoot at home.

I just can't believe an entire year has passed and so much has happened in that time for baby D with the little things he's learnt and how much he has grown.
A lot has also happened for us as a family and especially me as a mother, now to two little people.
Baby D took his first road trip from the town we used to live in near Ashford, Kent, at 8 weeks old. He was a dream on the journey if i remember right!
We celebrated our first Christmas as a family of four which felt amazing.
As a new family of four, the boys daddy and i made a huge decision to up and relocate to Somerset meaning J had to switch to a new nursery in a whole new area and the OH and i left our close friends behind and settle into a new area that we didn't know at all.
My OH had to do a job that he has never ever planned on being in, just to get us by until he found the right job for what he is qualified in.
I made a big decision for me personally, to apply for a place at college as a mature student to finally complete Hairdressing which has been a love of mine for years!
I also went through the hardest time I've ever had in my life which has lead to me being diagnosed with OCD however i'm now proud to say that i am coming out of the other end slowly but surely.

We are most definitely looking forward to this next year and seeing what it will hold for not only our beautiful boys but for us a family of four.
